when the Baby is born

When the baby is born and the wonderful postpartum period begins, I come to your home as a midwife and support you from the day of discharge from the hospital up to four weeks after the birth. I regularly weigh the baby, check if the umbilical cord is healing well, assist with breastfeeding, and help you establish a routine that works for you.

Even if you’ve prepared well with all the information available here on the website, a home visit still offers a more personalized level of care. It allows me to give you tailored advice and support that’s specific to your unique needs. It’s simply a more individual form of assistance during this special time.
